Kevin A. Nowlan, 47, was appointed as chief financial officer and executive vice president at BorgWarner, effective April 1. Additionally, Thomas J. McGill was named vice president and controller at the Auburn Hills-based auto supplier. Frederic Lissalde, BorgWarner president and CEO made the announcement.
Nowlan previously served at Meritor, Inc. as senior vice president and CFO since 2013 and before that had held positions of increasing responsibility at Meritor, including controller, treasurer, and vice president, Shared Services.
During his career, Nowlan has also worked for GMAC and General Motors’ Treasurer’s Office.
Nowlan has a bachelor’s degree in economics, political science and history and a master of business administration from the University of Michigan.
